Sorry for being late. It is that time of year in America were all good citizens must spend many a late night working on taxes. Uncle Sam must have his due.

I will have to brag a bit as this page from pencil to final inking only took me about two hours to complete. I had to spend a little more time in GIMP doing clean up. I have been taking all of your comments into consideration and I think this page is the result. Let me know what you think.

"Are You Being Served?" Is this a new tactic?

A lot of crosshatching for just a couple hours. Looks good. I like how the panels overlap ever so slightly and give it some depth.

I have to credit all the years I have been doing caricatures. When working a gig you have to draw a person in about five minutes time. But yes I was amazed myself at how fast this page came together. I think I must have been manic from all the coffee I had been drinking while working on taxes. Also keep in mind I draw the originals using Micron pens as well as Copic markers and not traditional crow quill pen and ink. So I did not have to wait for ink to dry or worry about smearing any lines. I also do very detailed thumbnails sketches of my pages ahead of time to work out layout and placement of word balloons, and to suss out where the blacks are going to be in the panels. That way when I start the actual page much of the hard work has already been done. Of course, today I am suffering from caffeine overdose. :(

Solid, Solid , Solid. One of your best so far. Real nice layout.

Thanks Gary,

You have to take some credit as I was taking your critique to heart.

Not a new tactic, Nigel is being "served" notice of legal action or what is known as "process" in legal jargon. Just wait, things are about to get very interesting.

Oh! BTW I loved that British show.

Is this the first time they've tried to evict him through the courts?

Short answer, yes.

Nigel the Nosferatu rents his spooky castle?! Maybe not, maybe there's another reason for eviction. A hyperspacial bypass, or something. We shall have to wait and see! Good job.

Two hours?! I take longer than that just on the cartoony outlines for my comic! Kudos!

Do you remember the old Warren magazines, Creepy and Eerie? This fits in that mold well. :)

Cut my formative years on Creepy, Eerie, and Vampirella! (hubba hubba). I am of course a fan of Wally Wood and Frank Frazetta. Ah such wonderful comic books a kid could get his hands on in the 1960s.

You will not have to wait long to find out. I am glad everyone is enjoying the strip. I am having a blast myself.

I know, there you are a vampire minding your own business and then the village slaps an eviction notice on you.

Ah! But wait, we have not heard from all parties yet. :)

How have I missed this? Good work. Wally Wood was one of my childhood idols along with most of the Mad men.

I think this is a good time for Nigel too go on a killing spree! Pesky town’s people! They need to be taught a lesson! A lesson I tell you!!! Whoa…sorry, I lost it for a second there. Luckily for this angry mob, your solution to this problem will probably be a lot less drastic than my suggestion.

Let's not get hasty now. However, I think you find the solution satisfying.
