OK 2 weeks hiatus turned into...well much longer than that. Mea Culpa. Work, grad school, blah! blah! blah! I am back and will update as often as I can. I have missed not working on Nigel. Here is my first cover even though it is book 2. I thought doing a bit of color for the covers would be nice. The main comic will continue to be black and white pen and ink. I cannot think of a better way to draw this particular story.

Glad to see you back...Great coloring. Was it done by hand?

All by hand except the Title and Logo. That I did using GIMP. I should have more pages posted in a couple of days.

Ominous title and some great art.

Although the comic doesn't need color, I really like that this has a splash. I find it really helps cement the idea you have for the character's design. The color in Nigel's eyes really gives him a sinister appearance. Of course, looks can be deceiving.

Tris I hope everyone is going to see how complex Nigel is in this story arch.

At Moiz, Missed you too. :)
Cat, Malfelix had nothing to do with it. Taking a class in cataloging; however, did for Library school. I cannot believe I managed to pull out an A in that class. Yeesh! Oh and Malfelix has a bit of new look as you will see and has more to do in this book.

I'm so pleased to see this coming back! A color cover is nice, but I'm glad you're sticking to B&W for the story.

You are all too kind. I admit it has been a hectic time since, what was it May, June? Too many irons in the fire and unfortunately Nigel had to suffer for my being so busy. I'm going to read and catch up on all of your strips that I have missed and over the holiday break try to get ahead on the artwork for Nigel. As I will get busy again in the spring with school and work.

Nice work!

Methinks your titles could benefit from being outlined, perhaps in white, to make them stand out more. Red's the hardest color to read.

Yea I just learned how to work with fonts in GIMP. Now I have to tackle the dreaded layers to improve.

Nigel the Nosferatu, Boob 2! :D It's great to have you back. Also nice to hear that you're sticking with the pen & ink look, which I love (I myself briefly diverged into digital coloring for my own strip before giving it up as a bad job and going full analog). Looking forward to the further adventures of the spunky Miss Lucy and that bald guy.
