Hey! I managed another page over the weekend! No small feat let me tell you. I enjoyed Heroes Con and spent a wonderful time talking with Ted Naifeh the creator of the comic Courtney Crumrim. I realized there is definitely a strong influence from Mr. Naifeh's on my work. If you have never read Courtney Crumrin, beg, borrow, buy, or steal a copy of the first trade paperback. You will be glad you did.

Ms. Lucy!
And Malfelix is looking downright catly tonight as well.

Yep made a few changes to Malfelix's look. He will be doing more in this book.

Hey, do my eyes deceive me? Nigel is back!
I've got to refresh my memory of the story here, but good to see these pages again Kim!

Great dimension to the page, I like the lighter shading on Nigel, good contrast.

Thanks Moz and Gary. I am learning how to do a better job of scanning and using GIMP. For this page I scanned at 600 dpi instead of 300 and scanned in black and white instead of grey scale. This looks very close to the original artwork which has been a problem with past uploads.

I am trying to catch up on all of your comics and will be posting on those soon. Life should not be this hectic. I hope to have another page up by the end of the week and have set up a schedule to set aside time every day for either writing or drawing. That is something I have not done in the past and allowed other matters to take over my time.

Good to be back.

Kim, I always have a problem with proportions, scanning problems, colors, everything. I have posted quite a few pages only to pull them back down when something looked funky.

Understood Gary, the next page is giving me fits at the moment as I have a number of perspective points as well as making the size relationships consistent.
